Collage of Cards

Collage of Cards

Good Monday, everyone. I hope you will all have a great new week ahead, beginning with today.

Saturday, I received 4x 6 inch postcards I ordered from LeisureLane1 on Redbubble. They are so pretty and I can’t wait for them to greet someone special in their mail box. And they’re even nice enough to frame. I’ll have to keep checking for some cute frames while I’m out and about.

Seeing them together reminded me of all the beauty life has to offer, and the beauty we get to create with our thoughts, our words, and our hands.

I also received two stickers, and I can use them in many ways; give them as gifts, stick them on card stock and make my own postcards or little note cards with them, or use them on the outside of envelopes, on my computer, in my journal…the possibilities are many. One I just thought of now, is sticking them on a sturdy backing and adding the flat magnets on the back for my refrigerator – that way I’ll always be reminded of good things.

The “Peace – Snow on the Berries” mug is precious. It also comes in “Merry & Bright”, “Happy Holidays”, “Merry Christmas”, and no text.

I hope these images inspire you to seek out, see, and enjoy the collage of all pretty things in life. May you enjoy your day, and…

Until next time, may happy days abound!

Bunny Cottage Inspiration

Good day, friends…

This past week I was reintroduced to a most delightful woman and her equally delightful blog.  Vicki and  Bunny Cottage, have inspired me to write the following poem…my Muse, if you will.

Life’s Lovely Collage

My Life’s a collage of ribbons and lace,
Of buttons that hold my heart in place,
And poems and flowers in pretty bouquets.
My Life is a lovely collage.

My Life’s a collage of yellow and blue,
Of lilac and pink, and more than a few
Of emotions that tell a story or two.
My Life is a lovely collage.

My Life’s a collage of joy and of sorrow,
Of yester and now. and surely tomorrow,
And all of the Grace that He let’s me borrow
To enhance my Life’s lovely collage.

Vicki uses photos of her home’s beautiful decor to accent her poignant and inspiring blog.  Her words are uplifting, reminiscent and inspirational…usually quick to the heart.

Soft colors of pink, blue, violet, and yellow welcome you into her world of vintage charm and feminine mystique.  Vicki has an eye for beautiful art, china, and fabric accents, and she pulls them all together into a soothing home atmosphere which says, “Come in, and rest your soul awhile.”

But I’ve only touched the surface of this dear lady.  Stop by and visit Bunny Cottage and learn more about Vicki.  You’ll be glad you did – I am.

Thank you for visiting me here on Leisure Lane.  Until next time, may happy days abound!
