Thanksgiving Greetings

IMG_1571 tintedThanksgiving Greetings to all my visitors…and Welcome!

In Knittington and on Leisure Lane the holidays are always cause for rustling and bustling about, but taking time for quiet and relaxing contemplation of what Thanksgiving truly means for all of us is a must.  Here on Leisure Lane we are truly thankful…full of gratitude for all of the blessings received; some are persons, some are things, some are big, some are small, but all are full of God’s grace and ever present wonderment.

IMG_1570A Thanksgiving card made for a gentleman.  I wanted to keep with the seasonal colors, not too glittery, but more toned for the occasion.  I also wanted to line the back of the insert with a perfect green material I had on hand, but Oops, I forgot to add it…oh, well, at least it still has my intent of gratitude and good wishes.

IMG_1579Adding just a touch of gold shimmer to the leaves and her wings.

May your Thanksgiving be full of joy.  And for my friends who may not celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving in your “neck of the woods”, may this season offer you the quiet nudging to contemplate your blessings, now and everyday of the year, as you remember that anything is possible with God…any thing.

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

Until next time, may happy days abound!

What a beautiful Knittington Fairy and an awesome card! I love the card and is most worthy of a gentleman. It’s good you kept in mind not to overdo the glitter. 🙂

Thank you, Brenda, dear…yes, November is not much of a glittery type of month, but more of a lovely contemplative one…quiet and full of those warm earth tones.
