Beautiful Runner

Good day, dear friends…

Welcome to Leisure Lane where surprises are always around the bend.  Today I’m sharing a beautiful, handmade runner I was blessed to receive in a giveaway by talented Melody at Brown Gingham Creations.  If you don’t know Melody, she hosts REDnesdays at her blog every Wednesday.  She is a very talented lady with many facets of fun at her blog.  So feel free to stop by and say “hello”.

The material is a gorgeous vintage heavy weight, and the embroidered panels on each end are different in design.  Aren’t they BEAUTIFUL!!  I draped the runner over the handle of the oven so that you could see the panels better, but it will be perfect decorating a table.  As you can see, though, it even brightens up the oven front….very versatile.

And as a bonus, Melody added a kitchen towel perfect for an embroidery image of my own – that was sweet of her.  Thank you, Melody.  I will cherish this, and think of you every time I see it.
