Touch of Red

Hankies 5A touch of red gives everything a bit of vintage charm

My mother’s vintage hankies are a joy to me.  So with a touch of red in a hanky and on my painted border sample page, and a cup of tea to sip, I’m bathing in a bit of vintage aura and charm.  I’m loving it!

It’s Rednesday Wednesday, and if you like red, then come along and join the fun at Brown Gingham Creation.  Melody, our host has the ‘Welcome” mat out to all who enjoy celebrating RED.   She’s really getting into the October/Halloween spirit (oops that’s the Halloween coming out in me 😉 ) by dressing up her blog in Jolly Halloween visuals, and Melody’s featuring some fun recipes to make October even more fun.

As always, thank you for visiting me at Leisure Lane.  You’re always welcome, and I enjoy our visits.

Until next time, may happy days abound!

Marianne

I love the beautiful hankies and the remembrance of your mother. I can imagine the days these hankies were tucked away in her sleeve. It was always so proper then.
    Love you,
    Brenda

That hankie pattern looks very kitcheny- like the patterns in vintage table cloths. Love it! ♥

I just read your comment..I’m glad you got a ‘Bite’ I love Halloween. I haven’t been able to have my usual Halloween Parties here at home since Mom and Dad have not been too well, but I still love to decorate and think up some disturbing treats.
I found these on the Kraft website.
