Simple and True

IMG_1521

It’s really that simple, friends, so why do we make it more difficult?  Perhaps ‘unknowing’ is all they ‘knew’ to teach to us.

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6

“And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22

“Ask and it will be given to you…” Matthew 7:7

“…Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24

I have an idea for another post that may expound on this a bit more.  In the meantime, I hope you receive those things which you desire when you pray.  Because if it’s good health, well being, peace, prosperity in every area of your life (whether it be time, money, less debt, true friends, quiet days), you know that all those things ARE the will of God for you and your loved ones.

Until next time, may happy days abound!

Marianne ♥

Note:  The above image of the night sky was a photo I took the other night.  The sky was so full of the fluffiest storm clouds, and the moon was shining and reflecting most beautifully off of them.  The photo doesn’t do the real thing justice, but it’s still effective, I think.

My husband lost his job a couple of weeks ago and we are praying that God shows us the next step. Sometimes we need to trust in him more and focus less on ourselves.

God is always willing to give us better than before – to flourish us. Trust that he will show you, and thank him for it in advance of its manifestation. I stand with you on this, my dear.

Blessings for satisfying work, where the people are kind, the pay is great, and the environment full of peace and joy. xo
