For God’s Sake: The New Disciple

New Disciple 8

Hello friends,

The new disciple takes a good place up front…as close to Jesus as possible.  She doesn’t want to miss out on anything, but it seems she has so many questions she’s holding up progress.  Have you ever done that…felt as if you had to understand every little thing in order to move forward?  Yet, in all the analyzing there is an interruption in the process and things move slower.  It’s a good thing to ask questions and to want to understand how things work in order to utilize them better, and that includes Spiritual laws. But sometimes we just need to take His Word for it, begin putting them into practice, and the understanding will come to light on its own.

Well, this is the last of “For God’s Sake”.  I hope they made you laugh, while helping you progress through your wonderful journey.  During the posting of these I received some ideas for a few more, so when I get them down on paper, I’ll post them.  In the meantime Kare and Mare will be back to make you smile.

May your day be bright and shining, and may every blessing you need or desire be manifested through your faith.

Until next time, may happy days abound!

Marianne

Very well said – so true! For me, sometimes, it’s not the learning that’s as tough as the unlearning. Or, making sure that what I’m believing and understanding is from the Lord and not “man made” …. questions and questions. Faith. … Believe God.

I love that the Little Disciple is so eager. And I love that you said that sometimes we just have to take His Word for it! And put them in practice! Such beautiful teaching, Marianne. Again, I LOVE THE DETAILS!
