Tea-spoon

Happy Tuesday, friends…

I’d like to show you a very interesting spoon that I’ve had for many, many years.  I’ve had it so long, that I don’t remember where I bought it, but it’s the handiest tea-spoon.  It’s particularly made to hold loose tea leaves.

You place the leaves into the bowl of the spoon…

close the lid.

and steep!

Isn’t it grand?!  A spot of mint tea anyone?

Thank you for strolling by.  I’m linking with Down Memory La La Lane and Cottage & Creek today.  Stop by and say ‘hello’ to these lovely ladies. You’ll be glad you did.

Until next time, may happy days abound!

Marianne

I don’t use loose tea as often, either, but the spoon works very well for those herbal teas made from homegrown herbs. The tea in the picture is mint. One of the few plants you don’t have to be a perfect gardener for. It has a heartiness of its own…so it’s perfect for me..col…

Your spoon is so clever, Marianne. I don’t often use loose tea but I know I should. It’s probably healthier. Your teacup is so pretty too. It’s so nice to use beautiful things, especially when they have lovely memories attached to them.
    Blessings to you always,
    Lynn
